Room 1 Puppets

Over the term Room 1 have been making their puppets and writing plays to perform to the class at the end of term 2. The students really enjoyed working on their puppets and developing their plays.

Room 1 Soccer skills Term2.

For this term Jen has been visiting our school to take us for soccer skills. We all have shown good skill development over the term,

Waerenga Welcome in.

On Sunday 23 June we had a welcome in for new families to Waerenga. They had the opportunity to look around the school, meet staff, visit the Recreation Centre to see the upgrades of playgroup building and have food for lunch put on by the schools PTA.
The day was enjoyed by all.

At present we are making puppets and creating backgrounds for our plays we have written.

In Room 1 we have been looking at South East Asia and the students decided to eat a rice dish, then eat it with chop sticks.

Room1 makes number 8 in the world in Mathletics

Well done Room 1 for making 8th in the world this week! and Lucy for being the top score in Room 1 with 16300 points. We are all into our online maths and have a weekly score chart on our wall to display our individual progress.
